No. You can contact Rooted Independence directly to schedule a consultation.

Do you accept insurance?

Services are private pay and are not billed through insurance.

What areas do you serve?

Rooted Independence proudly serves Mid-Missouri. If you're unsure whether you're within the service area, feel free to reach out.

What happens during a home safety consultation?

We'll walk through your home together, discuss your goals and concerns, and identify practical ways to improve safety, accessibility, and independence.

How long does an assessment take?

Most consultations last approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on the size of the home and your individual needs.

Do I have to purchase the products you recommend?

No. All recommendations are optional, and there is never any obligation to purchase equipment or make modifications.

Do you install equipment or make home modifications? 

I provide personalized recommendations and can connect you with trusted local professionals if installation is needed.

How do I schedule a consultation?

Complete the consultation request form or contact me by phone or email. I'll be in touch to answer any questions and schedule a time that works for you. 

What's the difference between the Home Safety Consultation and the Home Safety Package?

The Home Safety Consultation includes an in-home assessment and personalized recommendations. The Home Safety Package includes the consultation plus a detailed written action plan you can reference and implement over time. 

What is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)? 

A Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) has specialized training in identifying home safety concerns and recommending modifications that help people remain safe, accessible, and independent in their homes. While I do not perform installations, I provide personalized recommendations and can direct clients toward appropriate solutions and resources.
